What criteria does ooBdoo use for selecting sites?

First of all, have you checked to see that you are not already listed?

We are looking for:

• sites that are based in the United Kingdom, or that they are of interest and relavance to the UK
• sites that are rich in original content
• sites that are relevant to the category to which they have been submitted. (If it is found that they are better placed elsewhere then they will be moved to a more appropriate category)
• sites of high quality and reliability
• up-to-date and accurate
• easy to use and fast
• unique or original in content
• interesting and useful to viewers
• appealing visually
• sites that have recognizable content
• sites that in our opinion are suitable

What we exclude:

• sites with gratuitous or graphic violence
• sites that promote illegal activities
• sites that are in our opinion unsuitable
• sites that we consider hold no interest to United Kingdom viewers
• sites that we consider go against the intergity of the ooBdoo service

 

Adult sites:

Adult-only and sites with pornographic content are accepted.
No sites will be included if they contain child pornography of any kind.
The selection of sites will be entirely at our discretion.

How long does the submission process take?

Assuming your site is accepted it will be made 'live' as quickly as possible.

 

Re- submission of sites:

You may submit your site as many times as you like however, it is only worth re-submitting if your site if it has first of all been rejected and has undergone major changes since first submitting it.

Please do not try and 'spam' our service by continually submitting sites to the search engine. First of all there is no need to because once your site has been listed it will remain there. Secondly spamming the service will result in your site(s) being removed or not included (barred).
ALL SITES ARE VETTED BEFORE ACTUALLY BEING ENTERED INTO THE DATABASE
ooBdoo provides no guarantee that your site will be listed.

Does it cost anything to be listed in ooBdoo?

Yes and No !

There is no charge to have your site submitted into our Search Engine.

Which category should I use?

You should choose a category most closely related to your subject. If it is wrong we will include the site (if deemed acceptable based on the above criteria) in the most appropriate category.

Can I write my own revues?

Yes, however it is the editor who retains control over the content and wording of all sites reviewed.
