For the magazine’s launch, we designed and developed a brand new website. The site was designed around two core focuses; photography and editorial content, creating a unique experience for the user.Visit Site
Online articles designed to feel just like print.
A core part of the brief was to create a look and feel that felt like print.
We carefully crafted typography lockups, image arrangements and content layouts. The design allowed for content to be pulled out and highlighted, and a serif typeface in a dark grey helped make each page feel just like a magazine article.
The entire site was designed and built around a core focus of Oceanographic’s beautiful photography - all shot by industry experts.
The photography was made as prominent as possible through a full-screen experience on the homepage to help users engage with the content.
Fully responsive image mosaics were designed to create immersive image breaks between text.
All for a good cause.
The publication is on a mission to raise awareness. Oceanographic is also donating 20% of its profits to ocean conservation and is partnered with some of the most committed and effective marine conservation charities working today (including Project AWARE®, Blue Sphere Foundation and Wildcoast).

We’re proud to have been finalists in the Wirehive 100 awards for our work on Oceanographic.
We were finalists in three categories; Consumer Site of the Year, Agency for Good and Most Emotionally Engaging Content.
